After his recovery, production on the series resumed
Line of Events
A retired CIA agent is hunted by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares when, after nearly three decades, an unknown man suddenly visits him. Production was halted in March 2020 due to government restrictions. During this time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed and treated for non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Season 1 was great
Bridges described the return in a July 2022 podcast as a “long weekend” return. Presented at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards (2024). This will be a short review.
It’s totally exciting to see what happens next
In fact, the first few episodes were just epic, Jeff Bridges is sublime. Good backstory and basically kicks ass, which, to a lesser extent, is exactly what we want to see from this so-called old man. Well, I know that’s what I wanted to see anyway.
Very disappointing so far
And she delivered in spades too. Unfortunately, season 2 started out as a completely different series, slow, boring, bad story, almost bad acting from Lithgow. All in all, the exact opposite of everything that was great about season 1.
